Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADD), commonly known as attention deficit disorder, is a neurological
condition that manifests with various behavioural challenges in educational
settings. Individuals with ADD may encounter difficulties in tasks such as
focusing on homework, completing assignments, adhering to instructions, and
engaging in social interactions.
It is typical for students with ADD to
experience learning obstacles and face frequent disciplinary issues at school.
Unfortunately, individuals with ADD are sometimes misjudged as lazy due to
their apparent inattentiveness and struggles with task completion. Despite the
prevalence of ADD, misunderstandings surrounding the disorder persist.
